Marriage to BFF

Who hasn’t had a crush on their best friends?  These people are our best friends because they are so compatible with us.  It does not mean, though, that best friends also make good lovers or spouses, simply because we all expect somewhat different things from both.  Most experts will recommend that you try to marry a person who will also be your best friend, but I personally have found that it is better to choose our spouses and friends using separate checklists.  The reason is simple: we do not share our beds each night with our best friends.

The latest short story that I have published is called I Married My Japanese BFF and it is the story of man who found this Japanese girl adorable for her interesting personality but never thought that she would want him as a lover or will make a great wife.  Maybe you have heard the old advice that be careful what you wish for, you might as well get it, and that is exactly what happened to him.  Against all odds, he found out that she wanted him even more because he didn’t.
