Previously I sang praises of white jeans and now I must extend my praise for white shorts, especially if the waist can be highlighted with a belt, though, unlike this Japanese girl, I would not necessarily suggest that you choose white. Actually, since th tee is black, it might not be a bad idea to choose an entirely different color.
