Is Aimi Eguchi real?

For fans of Japanese pop music and bands like AKB48, it is very clear that the while some of the stuff is real, most of it is a manufactured reality.  Trust me, Japan is a very interesting place and I have seen some of the weirdest things in Japan, but no one who knows Japan well was shocked to find out that Aimi Eguchi was a computer generated band member.  Yes, using very sophisticated graphics technology, she was created by using body parts of other girls in the popular band.  What a heartbreaker!  Love that bow in the hair and ruffled tube top.
