Are Japanese women open minded about African Americans?
James writes, “The article about Japanese ignoring African Americans is totally untrue. There are far more white American men in Japan than African American men, so it seems like white men are in demand. I’ve been living in Japan for a year and have taught English in Tokyo and Niigata. I have honestly received more advances from Japanese women than my white counterparts. These dorky white guys who have probably never had a girlfriend in their life come to Japan and change their image and hide who they are. Japanese women are gradually noticing that most of these guys are social outcasts in their native country.”
